Hail Hail Hail!!!! This is our third article, you know how they say third time is a charm. Today's article shows respect to all the Headz in the Eastern Cape.
Ladies and Gentlemen we'd like to introduce the man who needs no introduction Mzukisi Ntantiso aka Def Eff, he mentions that he was raised by his mother who loved jazz, blues and soul music. He has a vast array of style and delivery.
Def Eff is well known as the member of the ETC crew in Cape Town from 2009-2014, He has worked with and performed alongside Jitsvinger,Ill Skillz, Kanyi Mavi, Captain Stu e.t.c
Internationally he has perfomed amongst Akil The Mc, Party People, John Robinson, Travie McCoy.
He currently went on a solo journey, just by looking at his work you don't need to question whether this man is a legend, He already is if you're a doubting Thomas you deserve a slap in the face!!!

In 2020 Def Eff released his E.P Agua, which means water. The maintrack of the E.P water caught my attention as the hook goes" You need me I'm water fitting in whatever like water cant push or pull me water" It reminds me of the teachings of Bruce Lee " Empty your mind, be formless.Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle"
Water can flow or crash, one must be fearless to explore their new self and Def Eff is a fine example of that, which is fluidity and spreading all over.
"Dudlu" is a catchy song that intelligently expresses the beauty of a woman, feminine energy which can leave a man knocked off his feet " Azange ndimbone umntu o nje" hahaha I won't give too much away.

Loyal To The Cause is a three track EP. Hamba Ungemi, Poison Pen and What Should He Do
When I was about to give up and drop this platform for a while, "Hamba Ungemi" became the reason I felt more motivated this made me realise why I started in the first place. This track has brought me back into focus and I hope it will be an inspiration to others.
Witnessing three great legendary Artists on this song Posion Pen with JitsVinger,Kanyi Mavi, and Def Eff, the diversity of languages in the song just proves how amazing it is to be a rainbow nation. The delivery, flow and bars serves the real Hip Hop Headz with content, something that has been missing for a long time. Food for thought, do you now understand when I say third time is a charm and divine like the godhead.
"What Should He Do" As I've mentioned before Def Eff has had the opportunity to grace the stage with the greatest locally and internationally, so please tell me what should he do for you to realise that he is an O.G in S.A he has kept the underground scene nourished with energetic live shows all his collaborations are of quality truly it gives me hope that Hip Hop still lives in our continent.
