Froz 25 To Concepts

 Froz one of my favourite kasi rappers, released his EP Concepts. The emcee structures typical stories that happen Ekasi in an intelligent manner songs like deadbeat dad vs single mom, confessions of a sinner, state vs Froz court case.

 Tracks like kasi rap speaks about the challenges of kasi rap and SA Hip Hop, the lack of support that comes from us so called kasi rap fans I felt it was also my responsibility to play my part by writing a review about this wonderful project it makes you aware of how the industry politics is a cancer in the South African Hip Hop industry.

Dead beat Dad vs Spiteful mom is a difficult conversation we struggle to address in our townships, which leads to children growing up bitter and feeling rejected by family and the society. The conversation leads to the Deadbeat Dad admitting his mistakes and the spiteful mother refusing to give the Father access to the child, and exposes how men can be monopolized for child support which is something alot of Fathers can relate to.

Confessions of a sinner are a conversation between a gangsta(guluva) and a preacher, but ironically he confesses his sins to a preacher that lives like a sinner as well.

The next two tracks State court vs Froz and Stan, if you remember state vs kirk jones and stan by Eminem, will make you appreciate the concepts of those tracks which exposes the kind of songs Froz was influenced you are truly listening to a Hip Hop Head that I can confidently say is true ambassador of Kasi Rap.
